He’s got a new album out in March produced by Timbaland. It’s called Scream, and the first time I listened to it I almost did! It is MASSIVELY different to his previous solo albums, and even further distanced from his Audioslave and Soundgarden tunes.

My first listen prompted a very loud “WTF”, and thought that Timbaland’s RnB production had butchered one of the greatest rock singers of all time. But, I listened to it again this morning, and it’s a bit of a grower. There’s certainly some catchy tunes in there, and Cornell’s voice is still superb. I think I’ll save final judgment until I see how the album comes across live.
